What if you gave yourself an hour to simply… soften?
Join Beach Meets Wellness for a calming evening designed to help you slow down, release tension, and reconnect with yourself.
We’ll begin with a gentle Yin yoga practice, followed by a deeply relaxing sound bath meditation—a beautiful combination for quieting the mind and inviting the body into a state of rest.
No experience necessary. Just come as you are.
Yin yoga is a quiet, meditative style of yoga that invites you to step out of the rush of everyday life.
Rather than moving quickly from pose to pose, Yin postures are typically held for several minutes, allowing the body to gradually soften while you practice staying present with your breath and sensations.
This isn't about flexibility, getting a workout, or "doing yoga right."
It's about creating space.
Space to breathe.
Space to notice.
Space to let go.
You'll be guided through a series of accessible, supported poses designed to encourage relaxation and release.
We'll close our practice with a sound bath meditation, allowing the soothing tones and vibrations of crystal alchemy singing bowls to become the focus of your awareness.
You don't need to know how to meditate.
You don't need to "clear your mind."
Simply get comfortable, close your eyes, breathe, and listen.
Think of it as a gentle invitation to press pause—to step away from your to-do list and give your nervous system a little room to exhale.
Whether you're completely new to yoga and meditation or already have a regular practice, this experience is designed for you.
Wear comfortable clothing and bring anything that will help you feel cozy and supported. A yoga mat is recommended, along with a blanket, pillow, or eye mask if you'd like.
Your only job is to arrive. We'll take care of the rest.
I'm Dr. Sandi, founder of Beach Meets Wellness, a coastal-inspired wellness practice rooted in the belief that wellness doesn't have to be complicated.
As a yoga teacher, sound healer, wellness educator, and counselor educator, I create experiences that bring together movement, mindfulness, rest, and connection—with plenty of room for you to simply be human.
My approach is intentionally soft, slow, welcoming, and accessible.
Because sometimes wellness looks less like doing more...and more like giving yourself permission to pause.
This evening at Cordova is just a little taste of what I offer through Beach Meets Wellness.
From intimate Yin and restorative yoga classes and sound baths to private wellness experiences, workshops, corporate wellness programs, retreats, and destination wellness experiences, I love creating spaces where people can slow down, reconnect, and feel a little more like themselves.
Who knows? This may be your first Beach Meets Wellness experience—but hopefully it won't be your last. 🌊
Come curious. Leave a little softer.
This event is complimentary and exclusively available to Cordova residents.
